4 months ago I decided to delete TikTok and spend less time on my phone. And honestly it’s really changed my habits in a positive manner. One of the biggest changes is the ability to think for myself. I used to always agree with the mainstream opinions, but taking a step back from social media, I am more able to form my own unique opinion. Another major thing is that I dislike my appearance way less. Now that I’m not constantly looking at pictures of extremely attractive people on tik tok, I’m able to appreciate how I look. I see my appearance as human, and I’m able to appreciate everyone else’s human appearance as well. Another thing, I have become so productive! The amount of time I have, now that I don’t spend it on my phone, is so much! So I spend time on productive hobbies and homework :) Deleting tik tok has made me so much more healthy, in terms of how I view myself and others. I really recommend it :D

Honestly, I didn't have much idea what to do with my life when I did, so the first thing I noticed was a LOT of boredom, and when you're so bored you usually desperately look for something to do with your life. Today I feel much better about myself, I'm studying programming, and I read like 10 times more than before, I spend more time with my real friends and in general I feel much happier. It's not that leaving social media is like a magic wand that will solve all your problems, not at all, but believe me, it will give you much more time to search, find, and accomplish things that make you much happier, truly happy, and not only satisfied. I guess that's a pretty important thing.
