I cannot believe that Nessie would do this. I one dropped my children in the water for supervision from the Loch Ness Monster and I got them back fine though they gave them to the hospital for some reason. Doctors said the children were dead but this is just from the excitement of meeting Loch Mess Monster I’m sure!

For those complaining that the transaction took place in US dollars, not pounds, remember she said she owns a gift shop in Loch Ness, and it's common for such shops to take USD if that's what the customer has on hand. They calculate the current exchange rate, and eventually trade their dollars for pounds, rather than lose a sale because the customer didn't have the proper cash. If you made that assumption because you have no ability to imagine a tourist gift shop scenario, this is understandable. Bless you.

Hope youve been able to do a few distillery tours while youre in the country or at least did while you were. I think my favourite part of the Highlands is the fact no matter where you are it always feels like its the arse end of nowhere.
