Watching this on my Mi Max 2. Still a rockstar since I had it almost a year ago. Not much major changes on the Mi Max 3 so probably will not upgrade yet.

I like your videos Andrew. Last year it was important for me to purchase a Phablet like Max 2 and your review helped me a lot. I think not a big upgrade has been done on Max 3 and for this reason Xiaomi didn't released it offically in India. Max 2 still available in their official site. A very good large display, battery and sound from a Chinese manufacturer I have ever seen at this price point.

I bought the global version of this phone on ebay for 269 US dollars one month ago, and I have to say this is the best decision I have ever made when it comes to cell phones buying. The screen, the camera, the sound quality, the price and the speed are all great. The battery life has been unreal, with me getting close to full three days. I am in NY using tmobile, and LTE signal has been excellent on band 4 mostly. I wish band 12 was built into the phone which would have helped for those spots deep into some buildings. One thing to be aware of, though, the phone comes with voice over LTE deactivated. The problem with that is the calls quality can be spotty. I was often losing signals in the middle of phone conversations. However, once I activated volte in the settings, it made a world of difference. So, no more dropped calls. To activate volte, you will need to go to settings and select Sim card and mobile network. Then select T-mobile or whatever provider you have. Scroll down and tap volte to activate. Great job with the review. You have positively reinforced my views on the phone.

Will it work on metropcs

I went from Samsung Note 4 to Mi Max 3. Even tho the Mi has a dual camera, the Note is much better on zoom. I like how bright the Mi's pictures are in low light. Second thing that makes me cringe a bit is that the screen is good, but not even close to the Note's. The battery on Mi is a beast! I listen to music in work(speaker), the internet is always on, facebook, instagram, etc and somehow I still manage to get home with around 60-70% battery. Another thing to consider is that if you get used with the size of it, you won't be easily going back on a smaller phone. The Note 4 seem such a small phone now. Overall you can't go wrong with this phone considering the price and the battery.

I've never held a phone of this size but after my LG G6 bit the dust, it's the only device I could find under $400 CAD with a huge battery, good SoC, nice screen, headphone jack, Type-C, and MicroSD support. Can't wait for it to arrive!

Super rzecz. Mam od roku MiMax2, o troche niższych parametrach i mniejszym ekranie(6,44"). Jest rewelacyjny. I jakościowo i w pracy. Nie mam żadnych zastrzeżeń. Teraz czekam az będzie dostępny w Polsce. Te trochę ponad 300$ to niewiele. Wychodzi niespełna 1100 na nasze. Myslę, że jednak będzie kosztował 1500 PLN co najmniej. TEŻ BIORĘ.
