Zen 5 Launching - Ryzen 9000 Release Date
It looks like AMD's next gen Ryzen 9000 Zen 5 CPUs could be launching much sooner than we thought according to leaks. If the latest information turns out to be true within just a few months the Ryzen 9000 R9 9950X, 9900X, R7 9800X, and R5 9600X could all be announced with availability soon after. Additionally the RTX 4090D could potentially end up getting discontinued soon, and the 4090 Ti is leaked yet again.

@@TheArchitect4K Well, here's the good news about the above secondary OPs' open criticism: they're not yet UKposts blacklisted like me, with comment strikes and restrictions. Even the above reviewer's tech video is up for questioning, with a warning box asking users if this video is legit and reliable. So, what is the big picture if you zoom all the way out? Well, I believe this all comes down to eventually the UKposts comment section being removed and phased out. It might not look like it now, but by the time it does happen, no one will realize that we are all in the Boiling Frog Syndrome.

The only thing that gives additional credence to an early zen 5 release would be how bad the 14900k is, allowing AMD to get very far ahead in ALL AREAS for the first time in a very long time, and they may be motivated to see that happen as soon as possible. When your competition stumbles you have be ready to take advantage. That said, engineering samples are out, they had to updates BIOSes anyway just to test, so one motherboard jumping the gun isn't a lot of evidence by itself.

I sure hope they will launch then, and still have NPU in them like the 8000 series, or perhaps even a better APU, one of the main reasons I was looking at a ryzen 8000 APU was for the integrated NPU, despite planning to still get a dedicated gpu with it eventually,

I would wait for 3d version. The release date sounds good. It just seems pointless to release cpus when the ones people want most isn't coming out first. This launch is an idea of performance, and the 2nd launch is the best case. This builds on fomo and then 3d being the best. Strange how best gpus releade first and lower end has to wait basically 6 month to a year later for mid range. Wish the lower to mid range got love like they use too.

Zen 5 release is all speculation, AMD already said about august / September time, they have only just sent out ES chips to some people, hence the bios support added so those people can actually test them, AMD wont even present them until computex 2024 in june and then it will be 2 to 3 months before they hit the shops

Zen 1 Ryzen 1000 series Zen plus (refresh) Ryzen 2000 series Zen 2 Ryzen 3000 Zen 3 Ryzen 5000 Zen 4 Ryzen 7000 Zen 5 Ryzen 9000 Mobile uses both odd and even with the refresh getting even number. With the exception of Zen plus which was only a refresh (fix) desktop parts have always gotten the odd number.

those laws on compute hardware above a certain processing power are honnestly kind of ridiculous these days, if they did it based on power usage it might be okay, but they do it on compute power and guess what, that new snapdragon Elite X apu(arm apu for low power devices) litterally has over 75TOPS of performance, which would litterally just be below that legal treshold, just overclocking it by 20% would then make it illegal, well I guess luckily for snapdragon it isn't as usa company if I remember correctly, just hope USA won't then with these laws prevent high performance hardware from abroad to be sold in usa or europe.

This. My car didn't cost $2k and I can drive it to work. Unless you actually need it for computing tasks, you get 80% of the performance for 20% of the cost on most games.
