44,832 is my guess. Going with higher number than last year because indoor trainer prices finally dropped a bit since the pandemics this year, which gave access to smart indoor riding to more people, me including.

The logout and forgetting credentials has lead to more panic updates before a ride than I can admit, a very welcomed update! It is exciting to see more users on zwift, glad it is still growing

Thx Shane, always on mark and a pleasure. Last week’s #’s are interesting, as they indicate that the COVID bump has been sustained , but those are likely more committed zwifters, so a more consistent foundation.

What would really useful for multiple users login, extremely convenient to store the different equipment settings, instead of having to search and load them for each ride

Peak Zwift, I've seen 42,400 already, going for an optimistic 47,500. Think Zwift will be happier with the many hours on end of 20k & even 30k plus users I've seen from mid-december onwards. edit: Nice to "see" Simon back, miss the old zwiftcast days :)

Why no bike locker? Pre-customized, or set up frames/wheels, to quickly choose from. People’s have been requesting this for years.

Thanks For The Update Shane..would be great if they could put the option to update Zwift at the end of a ride instead of the start..many times I'm have skipped option to update pre ride due to time constraints only to be then forced to update just before a group meet-up which always seem to take forever

Love these updates. my peak Zwift estimate is 42424 for 2024 😁 I know some people are dropping their subscriptions & trying some of the alternative cycling apps. The climb can't last for ever, the summit has to plateau at some point 😅

Still waiting for the update Zwift promised in December for heart rate monitoring using the Apple Watch. The AW is still essentially unuseable on Zwift which boggles the mind when one considers that the Apple Watch is now the most used heart rate monitoring device on the market.

@@ketle369 Reliably and consistently??? For me and many others, sometimes it connects. Usually it doesn't. Sometimes it initially connects, but then quickly disconnects. If you did something "special" to make it work, such as deleting the Companion App from your Apple Watch and then reinstalling it, I would love to hear back from you.

At :46 - I STILL have the issue with the launcher either giving me a white box with no info. AND it also doesn't remember my user name and password. However, the launcher says I'm at the latest version.

You also have to remember, there are now more smart trainer riding options like Zwift. So their numbers might not go up nearly as much anymore.

just launching v1.56 for the 2nd time and just noticed that my Power Source has a matching Icon... I use a Kicker Core and I have a side view of said Core complete with Wahoo branding !

Can you do a video on the Garmin Speed Sensor 2, and how your bikes wheel circumference measurement, affects speed and distance. I am trying to get my mountain bikes saved Garmin Edge 1040 activities while fellowing a Strava or Garmin Connect Route/Course. Id like the saved activity mileage distance to the distance that shows on my Strava/Garmin Connect saved activity… 1:24

What model ATV? There’s three or four generations of them that still run Zwift. Iirc it’s only the latest model(s) that have it.

Zwift still has a long way to go. No shifting on screen from indoor bikes, no actual time calculation for routes based on your ability / data, no ability to select another route when completion of a route happens…

@@gplama I've only used it on casual rides, but I absolutely love it. Better than standard cable pull derailleur gears, and I suspect on a par with Di2.

@@gplamaI've got a few months of ZH1 use now - racing, riding, etc. The virtual shifting works really well, particularly with the play controllers which allows similar to my Di2 set up (and yours I think) with shifting on both hoods/drops plus the click as a climbing shifter. The actual shifting is good - not doing it mechanically means no dropping the power for a moment to shift which tended to mean a drop in power in game. It can feel a little different to irl though as it seems to shift harder and then ease off a fraction to its final resistance - at least that does mean you feel the shift though

You must have missed the part where he said we already reached 42,452 last week. The YOY decline has been reversed. 2021 can probably be ignored in terms of looking at trends, considering the pandemic skewed the numbers.

@@gplama oh, I don’t know. I was using my wahoo kicker with zwift and was able to pair on the connect screen. My watch prompted me. I think you have to have the companion app on your phone running
