As the owner of a G6120CMHOF Chet's, It's a FOREVER guitar. Those TV Jones T'Armond pickups are incredible in response and tonality. I do prefer my Orange finish, tough :smile:

I just Received mine yesterday. What can I say? It's worth every penny I save. My wife's reaction when she saw the guitar on my hand was, "wooooow daddy, it looks amazing ❤" .... Brian, I purchased a used G2420T Streamliner with a fixed bridge. Strings are not over/under the Bigsby as I am sure you are aware. The guitar is in excellent condition but when I tune to pitch, low E to high E or opposite, all strings go up to sharp? I try again with the same continuous results. I also checked intonation. I installed new strings, one at a time with several winds but this will not stop? I presumed it might be the truss rod but it I cant imagine that causing an increased tension on the strings. I love this guitar but I am beginning to pull my hair out. I thought about going to a roller bridge as an option. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

I made an effort to ignore ac/dc because everyone loved them. My ignorance was thrown away as soon as Malcolm ( he really is a genius as long as rock and roll music exists ) became more in focus, and the Gretsch. Then ac/dc became awesome because Malcolm plays, and plays this monster!

I went to gc yesterday and I fell in love with the non Bixby model. The neck and pickups were phenomenal as well as the frets. If this came factory, wow!

The small one needs a trapeze tailpiece with a floating bridge and the others need stronger bracing to prevent the bridge from tilting or lifting. It sounds like you dropped the Gin Rickey name for the models with the Deltoluxe pickups. The parlor sounds just like my Harmony Stella from 1967.

I never thought I’d have any interest in a Gretsch. Now I have 2 and wanting more. I’m sure the top of the line are amazing but the electromatic and streamliners are cheap, well made and great fun. Do yourself a favour.

That psychedelic riffing at the end didn’t have to go so hard. But man, I’m glad it did.

I'm so glad they fixed the bridge design for these. Old ones didn't have enough gluing surface and had a tendency to lift or warp quickly. These are a LOT better and more stable than they used to be. I have one of the rex burst parlors and it's my go-to acoustic at this point. Has a distinctive sound and great play feel and I find myself writing most of my music on it.

Listening to Julien talk about how this guitar was designed to be easy to play for new players and how they wanted to make a guitar that made getting started more accessible all while knowing they only made, like, 10 of these is really sad.

I’ve had the black Jim Dandy for a couple of years now. What a Great Parlor Guitar. I added the Gretsch pickup, and absolutely love it. Love The Roots Series period. I have the Tenor Uke, and Guitarlele as well. All Great! Can’t imagine these new models aren’t too.
