So how much money was saved by releasing tugs before the bridge for all these decades? Its not billions. Risk management is not done well by the USCG and shipping should go back to DOT under the FMA. The USCG should focus on lifesaving, pollution and law enforcement, which is where their interest is. The USCG does not understand shipping and they ignore countless NTSB recommendations. Jennifer Homendy is not someone to ignore.

Must be the camera angle but didn’t see much clearance between the props and the shroud? 🧐🧐

Beef tallow? It's like putting chum in the water so it's easier for the tug guys to land the big ones :-)

Those rudder mods look like a "gurney flap" originally used by open wheel racers in the 70s. Wonder how long rudder mods have been around.

No desrespect or moaning, but I found the long periods with out any conversation only the sound of the engine boring unfortunately sorry. Shorten ur video or edit it out, tell some jokes, boat ur in specs design features, the port history, fun facts...anything but that constant droning sound. For entertainment and educational purposes for us non seafaring ppls if u want more subs . I use Sal as a example...17 min vid is just non stop interesting facts figures opinion ect. Seriously I never thort there'd be so many different topics issues on shipping " what's going with shipping " would be in my top 10 utube channels I visit by daily . Jake bro Preston Stewart Ryan McBeth Task n purpose And as many Simon Whistler channels Please don't take my comments as harsh critisim merely suggestions, because Sal recommended ur channel so I know you'll have a wealth on knowledge n expertise in your field. Apologies for the novel length comment
