Really, Terryfeeney7664? You don't get that they *are* edited? You don't get that they *are NOT* written out in emails the way I narrate them? You don't get that a lot of people use *voice text* on their phones to compose emails - and we all are aware that voice text will mangle everything you say? Most people are NOT writers. And there's nothing wrong with that. BUT - If I narrated them exactly as they are sent in to me, it would be difficult to follow many of the stories, and most people would not bother to listen. I EDIT THEM SO THEY FLOW NATURALLY. Let's use your comment from above to illustrate my point. I would make your comment readable for narration with these alterations: _" I would believe half of these stories, except they are written so well. No one writes like that, except for writers." I rest my case. **edited to add: There are also a great many emails that I do not have to touch at all. I never know what I'm getting when I open emails and I don't expect people to write perfectly.

@@BuckeyeBigfoot Makes sense, cuz when subs are interviewed, it's often hard for me to take them. I've heard enough "Uh's" and "Ya knows" to drive me to drink! I can take just so much and turn them off. Thanks for the editing to make them enjoyable. My issue though is not with bigfoots but with the killer yetis. Then there are crawlers and dogmen which are vicious. Any of these can be killed with a .357 to the head. Dogmen seem to be able to take body hits and then there are skinwalkers and werewolves where head shots are a must. While I've never encountered any of these, they are in my area, and I carry 180gr hollow points. Better to be prepared than naive.

I was raised around Boogers as a 8-10 year boy in Arkansas Delta. Never Bothered my great uncle or me but they have taken some of his hogs and corn several times over the years. He knew all about these creatures and always told me to Never shoot at one with my 22 rifle. I never actually saw one in 3 years but often saw their huge foot prints in the Cache River mud. Once when my uncle was younger and passed out in the woods from drinking too much moonshine, a Booger picked him up and carried him home, putting him up on his 5 ft. tall front porch. He always said, leave them alone and they will leave you alone...

There are WAY too many people who WANT these things to be benign guardians of the forest and saviors somehow. They say that they can’t wait to have their own encounter. They truly have no idea what they’re asking for!

Hi Nas, my name is Jessie and I work for MTA, which is metropolitan plus company and almoni and my friend Danny have been invited me to a place called Frazier Park. It's a 7 mile course and I went over there. To his house and he invited me over there to go for a run. Because I was running and I ran that morning. It was bleeding on Friday morning of 1980 and I was running with my dog. He was half Australian shepherd with Wolf. He had one blue eye and 1 brown eye. And I he told me to come over there that there was concourse of those birds that were 25 feet in length so I went over there. Thinking it was a peaceful place. And I'm looking for the big bird. And I ran into what I believe was one big creature. He was from 8 to 9 feet tall and it was red and he stunk. I mean, my dog would attack anything. He was scared of this creature and I'm running. And this creature was just walking fast alongside the bank. And I'm running and we ran for about 6 to 7 miles. And I ran with the Bigfoot. He was right alongside of me and his arms were below his knees. He's all covered in red. He looked like an ape and he's stonk like a like a skunk and I was scared, I did not have a knife. I did not have any weapons, I was just in my shorts and let me tell you Nas. I was scared and I don't scare easy, and I work for MTA, which is a bus company in Maine, Danny. We're good friends and he doesn't phrase your park. So I ran in his trail went to the right. And my trail went to the left and the sun hit him. So he when I looked at him, he was shiny and he looked at me and he yelled and his voice went right through my body. Scare the holy, you know what I mean. So when I got back to the car, Danny and his wife and my wife. They saw me and I was pale, and they asked me. What happened. You looked scared and and I told Danny. Hey man, you told me that were birds over here. I ran into a Bigfoot and he says. Yes, we have Bigfoot chair, and that's why they have guard dogs. They're wolves for guard dogs. And he said that I was very lucky that he didn't attack me. But that's my story and I just wanted. Everybody know that there are Bigfoot shot there and I went back and I told everybody at work that I ran into a Bigfoot and they all told me that I was on drugs and that I was hallucinating but you know what honest God is like strike me dead as my grandmother is up in the heavens. I saw it, and they're for real. You're truly Jessie.

This is one helluva story from David. I believe this story. Even though I was not a Marine, I am a veteran of a military service, the Coast Guard in my case. Back with i was in, we still used the S&W 1911 .45 caliber semi-auto handgun as our sidearm before the US miltary transferred over to using with NATO spec semi-auto sidearms. After serving in the Coast Guard, I went to work as an Adult Feliny Probation and Parole Officer for the Probation and Parole Division of the Florida Department of Corrections and later came back to Ohio to work as an Adult Felony Probation Officer for the Court of Common Pleas for a county in Southwestern Ohio that I won't name. In both states, I used a S&W Combat Model 19 .357 Magnum handgun, carrying two fast reloaders. I've been wondering if either a .45 or .357 would be enough to take down a bull Sasquatch or not. It is amazing that the beast had not dropped from being hit center mass with six close range .357 rounds. A human being sure as heck would not be standing after having been on the business end of that firearm. I even wonder if a Dirty Harry .44 Magnum or even an Israeli made Desert Eagle .50 caliber handgun would be enough to quickly take down a raging Squatch. I feel that something like the highest caliber Weatherby long rifles chambered with the highest grain rounds shouid drop and kill a Bigfoot. It is too bad that David had to shoot this Bigfoot, but as he said, it gave David no choice but to shoot it. I'm sure as a hunter, David has that ethos to only shoot a non-human creature if he is planning to eat it, not just kill a creature for Ego gratification. What a great story. A big thank you to David for sharing it. I dont know if I will ever get back to the UP of Michigan or not, but if I do, I'm not wandering too far away from the cabin. When I used that .357, both departments did not allow me to use 357 rounds but . 38 cal plus P rounds. State Trooper/Highway Patrols used to use their . 357s to shoot at and destroy the engine blocks of fleeing vehicles including semi diesel engines to stop them. I bought my .357 off a retired FSP Trooper.

With respect if you're going to use a 45 Auto cartridge use at least a +p 230 grain full metal jacketed hollow point. The pistol in my avatar image is a 1911 that has been tested and then respond to shoot 45 super ammunition or at least the +P variety. Use a bullet stout enough to expand but not fragment. Personally I prefer the ammunition or bullets from Hornady or Federal. Between the changes in both Remington and Winchester ammunition companies I don't know what they produce anymore. 950 ft per second is also the velocity from the muzzle you're looking for at a minimum 1,000 to 1200 ft per second is even better. Plaster is also the 460 Rowland cartridge. I could go on and on about what would be possibly inappropriate cartridge for a Sasquatch but I don't even know what to say. First name also bought a Mossberg Shockwave 12-gauge and it's going to be loaded with buckshot or heavy hardcast slugs. Add loaded to maximum amount of the appropriate powder. But I have to buy separate reloading equipment for shotgun shells. Good luck and stay safe everyone

When introduced by Smith and Wesson in 1935 it was touted as the most powerful handgun in production. It was used to kill a brown bear to show its power. It wouldn’t be the best choice to go against a Sasquatch but would definitely mess up it’s health record.

I’m from Michigan and I first came to know that Squaches are real when we were camping in a rustic campground in Big Knob Bay. We were the only ones there on this evening. At around 3am we were screamed at. It shook my ribs. Never heard anything that loud. I didn’t sleep that night. Next morning I found 16” footprints on hard surfaces. The next year we went to Paradise and I found 18” prints also. They are in the UP. And they are in lower Michigan also because I saw several of them. I learned what to look for.

Hi from Greensboro NC. You should look at Buffalo bore woods loads in 45 ACP +P. They use 255 grn hard cast at 925 fps for almost 500 fpe. If your 45 allows, I’d set it up for 45 Super you are in 10 MM territory. Be safe out there. By the way 230 grn ball is pretty effective on blk bear sized critters. Paul Harrel has some videos demonstrating effectiveness of 230 grain ball. It’s better than you think.

The behavior of a 'squatch depends on a lot of things, including species or type. People who really study them say there are 7 or 10 different species that range from the huge but shy "Patty" type to the purely predatory and extremely dangerous gugwe. Mattsquatch gives a really good explanation of these.

Maybe he was evil, maybe he was just having a bad day. There are different types of these Bigfoot beings out there. You shouldn't assume all are bad because of the one time you dealt with one. This is a great narrated encounter. The person interpreted the bigfoot's nonverbals as hostile. They don't take too kindly to being surprised and having their turf encroached upon. Whether or not he was intending to charge is up to interpretation. I wasn't there and I have no right to judge whether or not the shooting was justified, however, I certainly would have drawn and been ready to defend myself. If it had been a dogman, I wouldn't have hesitated to fire. Anyways this encounter is a great source of information. These cryptids along with bigfoots appear to have paranormal abilities, soooo, to me head shots are a must. The question is despite their being huge are they anatomically built like a grizzly with thick skin and skulls? Bipedal adversaries are more vulnerable because of a fragile center of gravity. Four legged animals are harder to put down. I don't know what ammo he was carrying, but 180gr hollow points are a must in a .357 to deal with dangerous game. Then again head shots are a must. I think if he had aimed for the head and not thought of it as a huge human where chest shots work, he would have done better and put it right down. With these cryptids running around, I sold my python and carry a S&W 627 or 327 with 8 shots now and fast clip loaders.

I believe they are just like us! Some good some bad! Good to know a 357 my fav, will only slow them down! I live rural with a lot of residences around. But plenty of places for them to hide!

Does the author remember what type ammo he was using, solid, sp, solid? 158 grain? 125? Very curious about that, thank you.
