I wish the vet who was doing the splenectomy would have an easier time of it if he had an assistant to help in retracting other organs from the operation field. We have a lot more help doing a similar surgery in a human. Kudos to vets everywhere!

Omg a few weeks ago it happened something similar to piglet to my dog, he had indigestion and wouldn't eat, we made him a ecography and discovered some splenic tumours totally unrelated to his sickness, they weren't that big but now knowing they could had grown and bursted I'm glad it was found relatively soon and we could operate him :3

Had a cat that got hit by a car. Shattered her leg. Couldn't afford to have it pinned together so vet said I could just put a cast on it and let it heal. Odds are she will never use it again. When the cast came off she used it no problem.

I had a dog that had a splenic tumor. He was 15 yrs old. Too dangerous for surgery because of age. I woke up one morning and he was sitting up leaning against a wall. Wouldn't lay down. His tumor had burst and he knew he would die if lay dow. Took him to vet and had him put to sleep. Very sad.

Recently my golden retriever dog ate her supper and had been fine all day. Within half a hour her spleen burst I guess , and her belly filled with blood. She was 9 and otherwise healthy. Within 3 hours she was dead. Her sister is lost without her. It was so sudden that we are in shock.

I’m not very happy that I can’t watch all the episodes on Bondi Vet. I’m a senior and can’t afford the cost of being able to watch the unblurred. I really don’t think this is fair.

I think that UKposts rules prevent the free videos from being unblurred, unfortunately. No, it isn't fair, but I can understand why. I wish an advisory about graphic content was enough, but I think UKposts is being careful and trying to avoid lawsuits and complaints.

The less anesthesia a cat receives the better and neutering a male is a fairly quick procedure so I agree with you?!

The cat was desexed/ vaccinated and microchipped at the same time. That part wasn't aired

Dr maddox u need a vacation or rest or vitamins.look in need v health bad. When showing tumor removal why will u not let audience watch? Also way too much talking. Happy pets maade it hope the kitten isnt too sore with rough surgical technique
