I was at near Happy California with 5 people and we had the same experience in a cabin. When it started sounding 3 to 5 miles off.. then screaming like a women..sounds of a siren and roars that were so loud...scared us. That was in 1988.

The first time or two we heard the call we thought it was some big cat. Then the call change as it got closer. Will never forget the trees shaking and the breaking sounds of wood across the lake. Unless you have heard the "screaming lady" or even the "child cry" you just don't get it. It's way louder then it should be no way any of those animals y'all stated. This is probably a fictional story. I live in the woods. I have heard a massive animal making these sounds but never in conjunction of one another. The only call I hear that changed is the one that sounds like a an old bomb or storm serine that flowed into a screaming roar. I could be wrong maybe this story is real. Possible this squatch just wanted to show off all his cool sounds in one call together... Who knows
@hybeerian

@@abelgonzaleziii566 Sorry this is not a fictional story. At first i did think it was a big cat, but when the call started changing into like a bears roar then like king kong/ godzilla...well that made me and the group less sure. When i saw the trees shaking and heard the cracking sounds of timber, also made me doubt it was a big cat. There was a lot of people at the campgrounds that night and a lot of us left. I love all the details in the stories sent in. It makes everything real- people going about their daily lives, enjoying a break at a campground with friends, then wham! Creepy howls break in, and when they get too close for comfort, it’s time to take action- or, thinking better of it, it’s time to leave. I definitely think they heard a variety of Bigfoot vocalizations, as well as some scary branches cracking as it walked toward them. It was also nice to hear some additional details from the story you read the other night. Glad you found his second email! Thanks again, Nance, and happy weekend to all! ❤️

With a lot of BF stories you hear about surround sounds vanishing. In this story it sounds as though they have not stopped, only that they were not able to hear them. That is not uncommon in those stories either. The memory bit amongst the friends also sounds kind of familiar, as if some have their memories suppressed or erased. Some stories tell about people being like hypnotised and not able to move. I do think it makes sense. Very interesting story!

I don't think that was a bigfoot at the campground. There are a lot that we don't know about these creatures, and there could be multiple types of them. In Laos (SE Asia), hunters would go into the mountains to hunt, and often encountered sounds like these. This creature was believed to be the guardian of the area and sometimes called "Pee Nhu Vai" by the locals. There were specific protocols you have to follow when you entered the mountains to hunt, but if you broke any of them, you will start to experience strange things. Some of the trigger were: being too greedy and hunting the wildlife for more than you need, being loud/rowdy, making jokes about the forest/guardian, grilling meat (strong fat dripping/burning smells), and destroying/altering forest settings. Soon afterwards, the sky gets darker, and the wind picks up like a storm is brewing out of nowhere. Then the sounds start coming. Most of the time, sounds of wild boars can be heard, like those of fighting boars. Then the sound changes to high pitch screaming, then to monkey ruckus, landslide, boulders crashing, trees falling, and repeats randomly in differently directions. When it's all over, there is no physical evidence of the forest being turned upside down. Some of the offenders/victims end up dead unfortunately. The victim would start getting stomach aches, then bloody diarrhea, then die a slow and painful death. The severity the consequences depend on the type of infraction caused and the temperament of the creature. There is a lot more that I can talk about, but that would be a book full. I would not be surprised if some of the campers offended the forest guardian/creature. Maybe the creature finally had enough and decided it was time to drive the campers out.

I wonder if that was Big Turtle Creek camp ground she was talking about? That was somewhere between S. Lebanon and Wilmington, it’s been years since I was there, my Aunt & Uncle had a membership there and it was out in the middle of nowhere, at least what I remember of it! And there was several small lakes ( ponds really) and one bigger lake too! Well, I’m sure there are other camp grounds probably over that way, I don’t know? The way she described it sounded kinda like Big Turtle Creek. Yeah, I remember going to Big Turtle Creek camp ground and crossing over or under 71 , twice I believe, those other camp grounds she , or he , mentioned there towards the end, if they were going to Caesars creek from Dayton they wouldn’t cross 71, but I guess it could have been Cowan lake or Rocky Fork, because coming from Dayton to either one of those you would cross over or under 71. I remember them saying something about I-71 at the beginning of their story. I don’t know, but I do know SW Ohio as well as I know Central Ky. and those are the only 3 places I can think of that camp ground could be.

Standing in my best friend's yard,or as I call it the woods about dark I hear this unidentifiable language I couldn't understand and immediately strange language I heard the loudest growl,scream yell I've ever heard before,then two woops,then an 80 lb dog barking with fear in its bark. All I know is there is nothing in these swampy woods that could make that sound and I didn't have to see a swamp ape to Know they are real and I little more than scary. I find myself walking the hunting reserve roads now looking for tracks,which is a Lil spooky in itself

Sounds like a troupe 14th fight. Like someone wanted some nooky nooky....and big mama wasn't having it cause baby was feeding. Those hormones will have you in a persistent mood...so I'm speculating...

Is this real or is this a story, because look I'm sorry, but how do you remember word for word so many different conversations you had years ago. I usually get very leary of that because that's how writers "fill in" readers. So unless this guy is a writer or has embellished the hell out of this story, then I'm going to need to know what he takes for his level of mental prowess.

Yes this really did happen. Do i remember ever word of the conversations no. We (meaning my wife and i ) have told this story to many new friends over the years that i am able to reconstruct approximately what was said. Many other people was there and left campgrounds. Hoping some one else will write in about this experience. Thanks for comment.

In my personal experience (& no, I've never had any kind of Sasquatch encounter) ANY TIME something has happened that made 'my life flash in front of my eyes'/fearful for my life (I did some pretty crazy things in my younger years!) or after I had a child, something happen that if it had been just a little different, I would have lost her - I VERY VIVIDLY REMEMBER EVERY SECOND, DETAIL & WORDS SAID/HEARD!!! I'm not claiming to have some kind of super powered memory - I'm just pointing out that some events in our lives can be so powerful, scary, important, that we can/will remember everything possible about them for the rest of our lives!!! We are capable of remembering in excruciating detail things that profoundly impact our lives!!!
