These were all fantastic encounters tonight. Thanks writers, and Nance. And thanks to John for trying to clarify what happened to the mystery guy in the truck! Still super creepy. Mysteries are fascinating! Snackage is a late dinner of a lemon-pepper fish filet, leftover squash and baked potatoes. Trying to empty out the fridge before going on a mini vacation! My sister will be here, so making room for her stuff. 💖🦍

About 2 years ago my son shot a deer and it ran off so my son tracked the deer until it was dark. He called a guy he knows who was training a dog and the guy and his dog were there in 15 minutes. His dog tracked to a bloodied spot with hair and blood but no deer. My son said that something picked that deer up and walked away while he was about 40 yards from it and he saw nothing. This happened in the middle Georgia area.

About a third or half of the hundreds of native names for the creature translate to demon, evil, danger, cannibal, evil trickster, etc, but many non native people today choose to imagine the creature as some sort of happy benevolent fairy, riding unicorns and farting rainbows.

Hi Nance! Been out researching in northern MI, just got back, have to catch up! Had two encounters in two different spots, near Evert, and further up near Luzerne, MI. I couldn't get in touch with Phil from Mio, he didn't answer. Sadly, we have Fungi and Insect problem that is killing as many as 40% of Oak and Pine in the northern areas from about Houghton Lake north is really really bad. I live further south in west MI, and it hasn't spread here...yet. I hope it never does, and I hope it never goes further south into Ohio, IN, IL, and other nearby states. take care!

Awesome video, but I wanted to say in regards to the story from John about the man with the missing face. I'm no expert on anything but I think that poor guy was killed by what is called a Gugwe. They are known by many different tribes as the face eater. For some unknown reason these particular species of sasquatch have a thing for literally biting the face off their victims. Anyway I hope everyone is doing well and may God bless each and everyone one of you.

"Saab-A" is spelled sabe and is from a First Nations word (if anyone knows or remembers the language specifically please respond). The full word is kimosabe "chemo-saab-A" and means one who looks out/observes from an obscured vantage point. That is a rough interpretation. An observer that watches on from secret places. Enshrouded Watcher is my favorite translation I've heard. Just for people who may not know. I'm pretty new to this myself so that's what some might call a Bigfoot. I don't believe the original language/culture exclusively uses it to describe sasquatch because it could mean private investigator in the right context, for example.
@geralynnmatta2763
@geralynnmatta2763 2 роки тому
Kimosaba means one that doesn't want to be known. Tonto called the lone ranger this for that reason. The lone ranger was a masked man so as not to be known.

Sabe is just one of several Ojibwa names for Bigfoot. And Ojibwa is just one of several hundred native North American linguistic groups. And each had several names for the creature. Bigfoot and Sasquatch (that second one also a First Nations name, of the Salish tribes) are legit and, most importantly, better known than “Sabe”. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it, right? So if there already are two extremely well known names for the beast (Bigfoot and Sasquatch), then why try to push on others an obscure name, known to just a small number of tribes? Makes no sense.

The Ojibwe men and women that I work with and Share my life with call them man of the woods or wild man.. never have they said Sabe .. I continue to hear this and it’s not correct. Leonard Nimoy masterfully portrayed Mr. Spock, not Captain Kirk.

Sorry 😔 I'm been behind here, I'm just tired of everything and everyone, not going to do anything dumb, just tired of entitled people who think they have done nothing wrong, I will let them keep thinking this but it makes my situation much worse, but it also is going to their future much worse.

I'll say if bigfoot wanted a deer that I shot I would be happy to let it have it. I'm looking for them and when I find one of the areas they come into I will leave a gift. If ever I get one taken and especially if one left I will surely post to brag

@@SquishySarah Seriously? Half the native names for the creature translate to demon, danger, evil, cannibal, etc, but non native people today want to imagine it as fairy like, riding unicorns and farting rainbows. Willful blindness.
