I have the CX Plus and have truly enjoyed the sound quality from them. I have an iPhone so I had the gen 1 AirPods Pro as well. I preferred the sound quality of the CX but every other feature was far better on the AirPods. So I would use the CX for the gym and then the AirPods for pretty much all other occasions. When the 2nd gen AirPods came out, I upgraded and sold the gen 1 for a good price. Even though the 2nd gen AirPods were a serious sound quality and ANC improvement, I still think the CX had higher quality sound so I kept using them in the same manner. When the MTW3 first came out, I was excited about all the rave reviews, lower than expected price, and the reduction in earbud size. So I purchased them. However, I couldn't get them to sound as good as the CX pair I already had. I ended up returning the MTW3. Not long ago, my CX developed an issue in the left earbud. I decided to give the MTW3 another chance. I still have the same issues as the first time I purchased them. I even connected them to a friends Samsung since apple refuses to upgrade to aptx with iPhone. It didn't make a difference. How is it possible that every review out there has nothing but praise for the MTW3 saying they're pretty incredible but I had 2 different pairs and did not enjoy the sound? Was I doing something wrong? Is the way I hear things just drastically different than everyone else? I can't seem to make senes of it.

Picked up my pair of CX Plus on Amazon for 85 bucks and I cannot believe how great the audio quality is for such a steal price.

I don't want to give up the audio technica ctks50 t and the sennheiser mtw3 anymore great headphones your videos are great

As a owner of both of these wireless earbuds and was switching between them just earlier today, I say this is a spot on video & agree with you completely. Yes the MTW3 are the superior product, as they supposed to be, but the CX Plus aren't far behind at all, especially for sound quality. The ANC is definitely weaker on the CX Plus, but still a good option for people to buy if they want that Sennheiser experience and can't afford the Premium MTW3. Again I say great comparison

CX Plus is miles better; they're so much closer to a studio sound than whatever they were trying to do with the MTW3

I got the CX Plus yesterday for only 109 - they are pretty incredible, even coming from Sony XM3s, which unfortunately died last week.

I just misplaced my CX Plus buds so ordered the MTW3s.

Any idea when the senheiser momentum tw 4 come out

Hi Aaron, great reviews as always!! My question is; i' want to buy the cx plus, i want the quality of audio, but it's so important for me the transparent mode, because i use it when i walk on the street in order to avoid an accident, is the transparent mode good, playing with music in the same time? because cx don't have volume of transparent mode and i don't want to listen to ambient strogest than the music. i think there no reason to buy the cx plus since mtw3 is just 100$ more it's really really worth it! and its more cheaper then other brand like sony xm4s bose qc2's ..

I love my Sony WF 1000xm4 however with their latest battery issues....I'm not sure I'll ever buy another Sony. It's the same with all their products it fails and they just gives up. For example' their mini disc, their phone ( too skinny ) who knows what other problem it will post. Sony brand is tarnish with all these issues. I'm thinking about the Momentum 3.
