A chrome or general metal polish works on headlights made from plastic. It requires quite some effort.

He's 100% fill the filter before u put it on and the off will keep the bugs away from the headlights LOL.

Glad to see you guys learning to do your own maintenance and the Regen is huge. Do keep up on that since those DPF filters are not cheap. Sadly you have a newer Bird with tons of emissions. The emissions are what cause the most proplems. Mine is a 2010 BB, thankfully no DEF but I do have EGR and EGR Cooler and pretty sure a DPF filter also. I got lucky and have the Cummins 6.7ISB. Not as much power as the CAT but a bit more reliable for sure. BTW, pretty sure you have 2 fuel filters also. You have a filter, and then you have a water separator filter too. One of them many times is under the bus near the fuel tank. I changed both of mine.

If the bus has 2007 emissions the system may need a manual regeneration, if overdue the system will progressively de-rate the engine to crawl mode. Your mechanic will be able to explain. Have the mechanic check the DCA/PH of the coolant to prevent cavitation. Once you begin operating the bus regularly the bus will passively regenerate if operating at the correct engine temp and speed. Not to worry....

Fill your fuel filter with fuel before putting it back on, injection pumps don’t like air pockets. You may have to bleed the injectors.
