As ive grown older, ive realized sex is really a sacred thing because its not really about the act - its about the exchange of energy. In some cultures its thought that you take on the karma of the person you sleep with which can influence your life path in all kinds of ways. If I had a daughter, I would emphasize the importance of prioritizing your sense of self over all of that stuff. I commend her for admiting that and although i have not read the article, i hope she doesnt have any shame surrounding it because sometimes being a late bloomer is a gift in disguise.

As a 25 year old and still a virgin, i didn’t regret not losing it when I was a teenager like others. Life is much more than just about sex, and frankly, I didn’t care if I’ve never met THE One. I’m just living life the way I want to and I’ll lose it when I want to.
