Amazing work, great kudos to you for learning and sharing. I still have to polish my 2 sided carves. Always about 0.5mm out, getting there slowly.

can a CNC be used to make accurately shaped ship's masts and yards and booms with their curved tapers ?

Hi Paul Thanks for the video and have wanted to make my own set like yours but have had trouble lining the sides up so did follow along with your example and front and back turned out quite good - used a 6.35mm end mill and a 1.5mm tapered ball nose as finisher - but had the same problem ass before when machining the sides in that the 1.4mm ball nose always wants to cut into the front or back so destroys them - any suggestions on how to overcome this? thanks Kerry
