I can totally relate to Ryan's comment about the unhealthy competition in a relationship. Like he said, there's nothing wrong with being ambitious and career-driven as a woman. However, it crosses boundaries when you continually impose your personal goals and ideas on your partner, causing significant mental stress for the other person. I'm not trying to say the guy is laid-back or unable to provide; it's just that everyone has their own pace in life. Improvement doesn't always have to revolve around career or money; it can be about health, fitness, or spending more time learning things outside of work.

Don't worry. Age might not define your life span. My aunt also have got a really sweet r/s w 11 years age gap. Therefore i used it as a benchmark to be acceptable of a r/s with 11 years apart. Sadly my aunt worked hard for her whole life n got ill. Even being the younger one and a really nice lady, peacful and most well liked aunt she left the world earlier. My uncle till today uses her picture as his phone wallpaper after years. I think age really ain't the matter. As long as there is love, there will be happiness. Or at least attempts to create more happiness. So just live your life, love yourself, dont care about wat others thinks. If its positive take it w a smile. If its negative just shut it off w a smile tat u ain't going to let it in. As long as u r happier that way. Just do it. Dont take it for granted tat u r younger means u will live longer though. Plus minus 5 years is the max for me, but I still have to deal with way way wat older men like e.g. 20 years age gap trying their luck etc cuz they think that as long as they have money girls wont mind. I get that if u dun mind the age gap go for it, but personally for me I find that even if I really really I am interested in the guy and he looks good doesn't look his age, the MAX age hap is 10 years and that's aldr very very stretching it for me liao. To me age gap is an issue because generation gap, lifestyle and the ability to have kids and being able to raise a family, ur energy level, health issues at ur age will have more issue as the age gap is widens lei.
