You need to do you Isaac - I spent most of my lifetime pleasing others while they did exactly what they wanted - this will make awesome UKposts content and we all will watch you turn this into yet another beauty - keep the house and everything will get worked out - it is my feeling that you are used to chaos and everything manages to get done anyway - but only offer bargain basement price IMO - enjoy your life and your family

Your living my dream lol. I fell off a ladder in 22. Now im stuck in this fuc-☆☆ chair........i hate the hand i was delt. P.s. buy leaf filter gutter gaurds. Its exspensive. But youll at least be able to walk around your yard. Hell....youll be able to walk anywhere.

Issac, I wonder if you could do me a favor. Please tell Jaylena that I miss her story telling..also when she talks about emotional abuse. I lived it a lot of years before I left it. I just experienced it again by the same person. We have older children, but sometimes have to see each other and the abuse and gaslighting are still there. I'm starting therapy again. I'm so happy you remain friends!! I'm soo happy you work together and I'm so happy you're not like the other guy. I wish she still did her talks.😢

It made you so happy and hopeful just to look at it and discuss and imagine. Maybe it goes no further, but you had to see it. The question now is, did this turn up at the right time? Or is it just the right time for it to throw a spanner in the works... does it derail your carefully laid plans and bury you in debt and guilt? This is the issue. Sometimes the perfect thing we always wanted, shows up at the wrong time. So you have to decide. There would be no deadline on the build, and if paying for it doesn't interfere too much with what you have going on, then you could totally buy it and stash it for a bit, starting it and moving up and down the driveway just to keep it running until you could get to it. You can quit stuff, but you can never deny who you really are, and this is you right here. So there's some thinking to be done now. Good luck Isaac. Ms. Ember showing her "Wild" lol

Here's my thoughts: Take your property and carve it out into mini "lots" for parking your vans, buses, etc like a mobile home park or a campground. You can have a few spaces for travelers to stay overnight ($), have spaces for the two of you to use as a homebase for your own van/bus, and have spaces for proiect vans/buses where you can work on & film. Invite other people to bring their van/bus "on set" for you to work on for video content in exchange for doing the work. Also, use your house as a clubhouse of sorts for family activities. Or as an office for the van/bus/mini home complex.

@@isaacturnerit I'm not sure how zoning works out there in Oregon, so I guess it's not permissable everywhere. With the tiny house boom, this might be a way to incorporate your hobbies, start some creative business ideas, have a home base for Ember, have a place for other travelers to bunk for a night or several, maybe sell your skills for renovating buses & vans to people looking for advice or just someone who has the tools & know how, and you can have little gatherings where you can have concerts. I've been to a lot of campgrounds who have regular activities for the kids... maybe go with something like that where Ember can unite with friends with parents who also enjoy the lifestyle. I've also been to a lot of music festivals and I know there are always folks who just want to meet up and jam. It seems like something you could coordinate with Jalena so that you can get away while she stays at the homestead and maybe she takes over the activity schedule while you travel or are deep into your projects. All to have some stability & "home" for Ember. .... just typing out loud lol. Best wishes to you all whatever you do!

Restoration is both a love & passion! My Husband restored a 442 and I understand that it was not only his #1 Hobby but also and investment. Eventually he sold it to put down on our first house. I definitely think its great that you are thinking of ember. And keeping a home base for her in a few short years she will be starting school. You can use your bus building skills for your home. Im looking forward to how you will do the back porch. I envision a outside play area for ember. And if you save one of the fireplaces you could enjoy outdoor time with friends etc. I think a bus would be great eventually. But this one does not seem like the right one. This is just my opinion. Looking forward to the bus tour. I think a fun bus side thing for you would be to help others fix or build their busses you would get videos and tours out of it. Isnt that how you got started on u tube. Teaching Jaylena. Also some videos of local Oregon places to visit that are kid friendly would be fun to watch.
