Here is an idea for some innovative start up out there: automated pothole filler. Once an exact accurate GPS coordinates are given of a pothole it will fly or drive a pothole filling robot, it will fill enough asphalt to fill it, spread it out to be even, and compact it, than leave. Ideally done during night. No human involvement.

Some of these would be perfect as a Snap on Snap off Drone attachments. OK, so 99 % of cars have 1 person in them.... My concept of the perfect flying car is a "snap on snap off" 1 person 3 wheel lite weight electric golf cart with separate top fitting snap one drone. When you get close to where you fly into you can un snap the cart and drive to where you want to go. You own the cart but the drone is rented. Keep the cost low and let the drone attachment recharge. You will not get the same drone back each time as they are charging up. Lots of city Drone Ports and one at your house. 99% of people could afford this....! Keep it simple...... use what we have.... Cart battery used as back up to drome! Total disrupter to old fashion cars, highways and energy industries..... save environment at same time...??? . save environment at same time...???

In the early days of the automobile they were all so expensive only the rich could afford one. The car makers only built the rolling chassis & the buyer had to deliver that to a carriage shop who would build & fit a custom body. I see that practice returning with EVs. One or 2 platform makers might build the rolling platform, a SKATEBOARD as they call it & other companies might provide the body be it a sedan or a van or a pickup or a step van delivery vehicle. I also dont understand why each builder is involved with building batteries. Tesla is in partnership w Panasonic & I read just yesterday another is entered into partnership with Samsung for batteries. Thats how it should work. EV makers call up a battery co & tell them the specs of the battery they need and the battery co will build it for them. EV battery backs are made up of several battery modules. In a perfect world there would be just 1 battery module & different battery packs would be assembled to create the battery pack required for that particular vehicle. Seems like this would streamline the Ev build process. !

Name any aircraft that operates in 40 knot + winds. Name a watercraft of less that 10s of thousands of tons, that operates normally in such winds and 5+ meter waves. Sea State 5 or 6+ (Beaufort 8 or 9) stops everything, and GEVs and seaplanes are demonstrated in anything less. GEVs are not as a class particularly vulnerable to weather. UKposts and social media "experts" are so certain, they "just know" that seaplanes and GEVs need perfectly still conditions.

The words you used to describe this were totally off. I get what you're doing here but, sending people to go live in a tree house is a terrible ideal for long term dwelling. A tailor home has better living and space than this. Also that design is time tested and simplistic to create. That should have been the go to design.
