Not just that but with the number of people who now just have phones at all times, and the number of older men who seem to think that younger women are just pretty things for them to collect or something. Before I started boymoding more often, men who were older than my dad would just walk up to me, grab my arms or whisper in my ear and then act confused when I pulled away or told them to back off. And then you have these younger men who idolize Tater Tot and will just relentlessly hit on you, then call you names when you reject them… it’s such a pain honestly.

Yeah, the bank customer was the Karen of that video. He walked in with his son, dumped a bunch of coins on the counter and then demanded the teller count it for them. So when the teller had some kind of facial expression, then the customer needs the manager? And then proceeds to tell her she's not doing her job correctly? Naw, he's a whole asshole. “You can’t restrict my access to the bank.” Sir, let me direct you to the section of the deposit agreement that explains how we have the right to close your account for any reason (this is a prime example of why they give themselves an out). May I also explain the concept of a Do Not Trespass letter, which I’m sure TD also sends to clients who want to show their asses. Not saying what he’s doing necessarily deserves closure, but he needs to understand that no company needs to take anyone’s abuse or unreasonable behavior. If you can’t put your big boy pants on, and have a conversation, you need to go cool off. The teller may not have explained the issue the first time, but anyone who loudly announces they’re not a sheep is probably not super rational.

So, for the bank story, I can shed a bit of light simply because of the bank itself. TD bank (or Toronto Dominion) is a Canadian bank chain. This means that this happened within Canada. This means (obviously) that they follow Canadian regulations, rights and laws. The reason I bring this up is that Canada has this lovely little thing called the "Right to Refuse", which is a protection put in place for workers (especially in retail and service positions that deal with customers). It plainly states that an employee can refuse to serve a customer if they are belligerent (which this guy clearly was). That means that everything that happened with the bank employee and manager was 100% justified and protected. The moment that the bank manager told the guy he had to leave and he refused, he was trespassing on their property. Some thing many people forget is that businesses are *not* public property. You don't have the right to come and go as you please: you are welcome from the business to enter. The moment you are told to leave, you are no longer welcome and do not have the right to be there. Also, let's just also add that this guy's freakout was over an eye twitch and how his expression set him off. This guy is super entitled and sadly, I've met these kinds of people before. I once had a "get the manager" moment from a guy, because I didn't call him "sir". Yeah... even in Canada we have doucebags like this... and this guy... definitely a doucebag.

America has a Right to Refuse too, it’s just that a lot of corporations won’t let individual employees exercise that right because they don’t want to lose precious profits even if their employees are unsafe. I once refused to serve someone because she threw salami at the back of my head and was screaming that I had tried to poison her (all I did was cut said salami for her), and my manager didn’t kick her out, but just served her in my place. Then scolded me for being so “sensitive”.

There was a great AITA story at a state park where a guy went to eat a packed lunch at a few times. He was sat on the ground at a particularly beautiful spot, and this planner came up and told him to move because an engagement was going to happen. He said after I'm done (he'd just set up like 10 minutes before). Then the guy stormed over and told him he had to move, and he refused. Left like an hour later, and the woman screamed at him that he'd ruined their engagement. Except it wasn't a proposal at all, it was an idiotic engagement photoshoot to plaster all over social media which is what your last video looked like. Stop that nonsense! The world doesn't just stop so you can take some photos. Nobody is going to care in 5 years when you're telling your engagement story that you have video or photos of it. I was once house sitting for my Grandma and we head off to bed finally at around 1:30 am, and this was the first time we finally went into the room while it was night time (first night too), so we just saw this, but our neighborhood had this giant neon blue light shining into the bedroom, illuminating the whole bedroom. We tried to close the shades and then the curtains, but it still was so bright, because the light was so intense and so close to the window, it was shining through everything and we just couldn’t sleep. I went over, and the guy was upset, saying he needed it so he can see out there in case he goes outside, and in case intruders come around because the light will “expose them.” I understand that, but Jesus Christ, it’s so bright and throughout the ENTIRE night?!? So if you have the porch lights like this guy in the video, I can see why it’s a little annoying depending on who’s the neighbor and where the light shines in, because clearly it’s not soft lighting. I just wish there was an accommodation because I know how annoying that can really be, like does he have it because he’s waiting for someone, he needs it because he gets up to work early, he’s worried about intruders?? While I agree that taking pictures of weddings/proposals is weird if you don't know the couple, I had my wedding on a beach and someone took a photo of the wedding from the nearby high-rise. However, they did stop my mom and sent it to her right then. So it provided an aerial view of my wedding which, while it wasn't the best quality, was very sweet of them to take and give to us. And yes, it would be stupid of people to expect no one on the beach to be near their wedding/proposal. Our beach was nearly packed. The only thing our planner did was to ask someone to move from the clearly marked area. We had our arch set up and a square around where the chairs would go. Though we did ask the owner of the high-rise right in front of the area if we could set up there.

When I was younger my family was going on holiday and there was a woman who ran in front of a truck (not sure what you call them in America, the ones that carry groceries or logs, etc.), luckily the driver stopped and swerved and didn't hit her. My dad and the driver tried to talk to her (she looked like she had been seriously beaten up), my Mum drove to the police station that was a few minutes away back. The police came and looked after her, brought her clothes etc. and immediately took her to hospital... I have never forgotten this.

5:30 have we consideredbmaybe she has dementia or something? If that's the case I'm more worried about her well-being and the fact no one is watching her making sure she doesn't do dangerous stuff. Anyways, the street lamp is right outside my window (like less than 3 meters away and directly in front of my only bedroom) I can't afford A/C and it gets very hot where I live so I don't put on curtains because I need the airflow. I used to love that my apartment got enough light that I didn't need to turn on the lights but was dark enough I could still sleep. The city recently changed the lights from the reasonably dimmer ones to some crazy bright ones (nearly flood lights). I now have 2 permanent beams of Bright light pointing to the only 2 spots I can reasonably put my bed in. I bet the lights are terrible for the environment but I also know my neighborhood and I know the change was likely because a bunch of old people complained about "suspected criminal activity" in the area (although that "criminal activity" is mostly working people in their late 20s - mid 30s walking their dogs after 6pm or before 8am or people who doesn't own a car walking to work/school/a bus station) I'm not waiting my time taking it up to the Mayor or something because getting an appointment would mean time off work I can't afford and they'll likely want to have the older who actually owns property in the area feeling safe rather than worrying about light contamination and people not being able to afford to put up curtains. I just wear a facemask. Problem solved.

The one with the woman in the park (I guess it was a park) who was using the stairs to stretch and was getting yelled at by that horrible other woman, I wonder if the video got posted onto a TikTok or something. if it did, I wonder if the internet found out who the nasty woman was. In this day and age, it seems like that sort of thing happens a lot. That would be great to see an update where the family of the nasty woman apologized to the woman at the stairs. It's standard bank practice that if you want to cash in coins they're supposed to be rolled before walking in. I mean of course if there are just a few you want to exchange, that's one thing. As a grown man, who has most likely been to this bank before, he should know how banks work. Was the teller possibly being a problem? Maybe. But unless he has video of it, we have no way of knowing. I feel like he was told that the money had to be rolled for them to do anything with it, but he just didn't like that. TD bank doesn't have the coin machines anymore. So any coins that a person wants to deposit or cash in, have to be in rolls.

Not customers at my job that I hadn’t met until that moment 🙃 if someone took a picture or video of me without my knowledge or consent that’d be terrible.

2 things? First I never ask a question if I think the answer is yes. Second the bank people were rude. Most banks have coin counting machines. I can sort of understand the lady that cant sleep because of the lights. Some of these lights can be extremely bright unfortunately. I also don't understand why they would need to be on all night, when you could easily get lights on motion sensors, so they will only turn on if needed. Another option are lights that can be app controlled and even be put on timers or even fancier, you can have the lights respond to your phone being in proximity when you are driving home (from work or whatnot) and they will turn on when you are within a certain parameter that you can set. So they will be conveniently turned on when you get home and turn back off at whatever time you set that to. The only thing a LOT of people seem to forget about is having decent lighting for the number on their house. It can be damned near IMPOSSIBLE to find a certain house number in the dark, when no one has lighting on it and/or have it in a visible place, in a big enough font. 😵‍💫

Why is it wrong (it is!) to film an attractive lady in public but somehow right to film others who are in crisis, or just dancing or doing anything else? YEP...that creepy pastor-y creep SHOULD NOT have done that AND should have removed the video with NO questions and apologized...but with no general laws for filming in public....he can. And before anyone screams "IT"S FREE SPEECH"...yeah, no. It is creepy. Go tell it to George Washington.
