6:19 I'm sensing a blind "I hate Chris Pratt, just because" bias vibes from you here. 🙄😒😑 [Hypocritical, much?] Especially when you excused Charlie Day's Luigi voice where it's just Charlie Day doing his regular voice with a hint of a Brooklyn accent added in and he sounds nothing like all the previous Luigi's from the past. Like in the 80's to early 90's Mario cartoon shows where Luigi had a deep, gruff, Brooklyn New York Accent type of voice, John Leguizamo's Spanish American, Brooklyn New York voice for Luigi in the 1993 live action Mario Movie and of course Charles Martinet's famous Luigi voice from the video game in the mid 90's and onwards. And Mario also had different types of voices long before Charles Martinet's stereotypical Italian Accent Mario voice got soaked into all of our brains like a sponge. To the point where we're not open minded to new interpretations of a beloved character. For example, Pedro Pascal & Bella Ramsey played an entirely different version of Joel & Ellie in the live action The Last of Us HBO Series than Troy Baker's take & Ashley Johnson's take, in their looks, voices, tone, performances and demeanors. Ben Schwartz, Jim Carrey and Edris Elba plays an entirely new and different versions of Sonic, Dr. Eggman & Knuckles None of which sounded like previous voice actors of the Characters from the Sonic The Hedgehog video games and were just doing their normal voices and personality quirks. Ryan Reynolds as Pikachu in The live action Detective Pikachu movie used his regular normal speaking voice for Pikachu and it works. Tom Holland & Mark Wahlberg also played drastically different younger versions of Nathan Drake & Victor Sullivan from the live action Uncharted movie. Mario's voice in this movie is like a more of a perked up, slightly higher pitch version Chris Pratt's normal voice but with a slight Brooklyn New York Accent, while still incorporating some elements of Charles Martinet's quirks subtly. Bottomline, I still think this whole situation is just a HUGE overreaction from the fandom that can't handle change.

Not just my favorite, but the ONLY anime show I’ve ever made it more than a few episodes in. Same goes for the Miyazaki films. There’s just something special and perfect in there that transcends my general disinterest in the genre. If there really are people who are “on the fence” about watching this series, please just do it.

I am going to contribute by saying that you never ever should eat more than 3 eggs a day, unless you have deficiency or something. I am not a doctor but I have eaten up to 6-7 eggs a day and well, let's just say that you can not tell your body what to do with excess protein. Cowboy Bebop along with Gungrave is among my favorite shows. Thank you for all the effort you put into this video.

Today I learned some people think Bebop's episodes are pointless

It always boggled my mind, about how people perceive Jinx as a character. She's an incredibly well-written character. It shows how PTSD and trauma play an ingredient in sociopathy/psychopathy. The woman isn't evil, but she becomes a product of evil people. I love that Arcane makes these characters all grey, even Silco isn't as black and white.

This my all time favorite anime man I wish it could have kept going it was super awesome with a beautiful soundtrack.

The message would really help the younger generation actually be able to do something if we lived in a different timeline where the only people that can run countries arent cranky old men

"How Blue Eye Samurai Fixes The Strong Female Protagonist Problem" because its earned. Shes not a mary sue and has to earn all she has, no shortcuts, no handwaves, no unexplained talents. Everything she has, she earned through years of hard work and struggle so she doesnt come off as contrived and phony. Modern characters dont earn anything anymore, theyre given a name, a mantle, a power and they do nothing to be relatable or real and just constantly always do the right thing and that is pandering and incredibly boring.

This year i learned to accept things too. There was a guy whom i used to hate a lot never thought that he could be good but later i changed i mind. Every thing is a perfect mixture of good and bad. Pure and impure.

The only complaint about Hazbin Hotel (and Helluva Boss) i endorse is that there is not more of it.

Fun fact: in the pilot, for every character that sang any song whatsoever, they had two voice actors, because unfortunately the majority of the voice actors for the characters couldn’t actually sing or sing very well and so they had to have an extra voice actor to sing, which is why you can hear the voices somewhat changing between songs and normal conversations or dialogue Also I believe Prime restricted shows to 8 episodes but I COULD be wrong and it’s very likely too

I was a year old when this movie came out. My grandmother used this; and other religion themed movies to introduce my to the Christian religion. But every other time i watched it, it was becuase this is an amazing, emotional and heartfelt film that i really enjoy. From the story, to the music to the animation style, i love it to bits and still watch it on occasion to this day, and probably will watch it many more times in the years to come.

I kinda get the hate for HH If you look at how it is, it's a show from someone not too popular, it respects and implements sexualities and its art style is cartoony. And if you look at what people(ahem "sigmas") have been hating on, you'd find things very similar to HH The first time I saw HH I was very confused because of a deja vu feeling and feeling like I've seen it before. Also some people are hating because of the characters traits, like Charlie being a disney princess despite her supposed to be a parody of that.

I just gotta say that the music choice for this video is amazing, especially the panam theme from cyberpunk, that after playing the game, subconciously hits so hard.

Loved this movie through and through. No one will ever convince me it was a bad movie.

i hate it when someone gets ragged on for talking about serious subject matter in a good way i loved the song poison and ive never dealt with an abusive relationship but i felt legitimately bad for angel by the end of the episode and i feel like it was done right in the way it was addressed i dont feel at all that the episode was insensitive and if some people feel that way its cuz they have never been in an abusive relationship or in angel's shoes... art has always imitated life and people just happen to be too sensitive nowadays to realize that... i loved angel's episode and was so happy when he finally had enough and stood up to valentino and cant wait to see him get out of his contract with valentino

Dude I love your take on this cause Yes! Hazbin Hotel has it’s issues, but I don’t t think any of them warrant the hate the show is getting. I know you didn’t really cover it, but like, ‘Loser Baby’ was SUCH a breath of fresh air cause it said *Exactly* what Angel, and so many people in general, needed to hear, which is that sometimes? *Shit just Sucks* (*Spoilers for Ep. 4 & 6 *) Cause yeah, the ‘right’ thing to say is that ‘things will get better!’ or ‘everything will turn out okay in the end!’ or ‘you’ll be okay!’, but that isn’t always TRUE. Sometimes things don’t get better, sometimes they don’t end up okay, sometimes a person get’s screwed over, and sometimes you aren’t okay and what you’re doing isn’t good and you *Need* to *Hear That* from someone Charlie has been trying since the *FIRST* EPISODE to tell Angel all of the things you’re ‘supposed’ to tell people in his position; that things will be okay, that they’re nothing ‘wrong’ with him, he just needs some help, that *things will get Better* if he just Trusts Her. And while we the audience know that Charlie is 110% genuine in all of that, Angel *doesn’t*, he’s probably been burned so many times in his life (and afterlife) that it all sounds like empty platitudes at that point. Things will get better? Sure they will honey, but he’s been doing this for decades and it’s only gotten *worse* There’s nothing wrong with him? HA, babes, there is *so much* wrong with him he wouldn’t be able to cover everything even over a double shift in the studio. You want him to *trust you* ? Last time he did that he *sold his fucking soul* to a deranged madman Husk looks Angel dead in the eye and tells him what everyone else is too nervous to; that you know what? Yeah, he IS kinda fucked up, and yes, he IS a loser And that none of them *Fucking Care* So what if he’s fucked up little loser? Everyone down in Hell is, he’s not special, his problems don’t make him an island in the middle of the ocean with no one to relate to, they make him another pebble on the beach. And that means he’s *not alone* Everyone at the hotel already knows who he is on stage, they already know the persona he gives to every single person he meets and they *don’t care* Charlie didn’t see a stripper who wrecked his life with no way to fix it, she saw someone in a bad place who can be *better* if he tries and is willing to help him Husk didn’t see an overconfident-pornstar-drug-addict with no filter, he saw someone self-destructing and refusing to accept help, and then he saw WHY, and then he told him what he needed to hear in a way that he would accept it. Cause it’s not that Angel doesn’t understand what Charlie is saying to him, it’s that he *doesn’t accept it’s true* , he thinks ‘sure, OTHER people might be worth saving, but not me. I’m too messed up, too not good enough. I like things I shouldn’t and that’ll never be accepted in Heaven. Someone like me can’t be redeemed cause *I’m too damaged* ’ And then Husk essential smacks him upside the head and says ‘We’re ALL damaged dummy, but you aren’t any worse off than the rest of us. If you think any of us are worth redemption then *so are you* , so frickin lean on us for support already. Stop destroying yourself and just *let us help*’ And then he *Does,* and it’s amazing. He doesn’t stop everything he does, but he does cut back on the self-destructiveness of his actions and start standing up for himself more. Like when he and the crew go out to a club with Cherry Bomb and he turns down the drugs she offered cause he doesn’t feel the need to get super fucked up. He’s got a good thing going and frankly, he doesn’t *actually* want to undo all his progress now that he has a solid support network at his back. And that goes both ways, cause he then stands up to support Nifty when she got wasted AND back talked Valentino I just. I freakin love this show man. While I they were put on such a constricted timetable, they did Amazing with the time they had and I'm frankly really happy with how the show turned out

10:47 At this point, when I first saw the doll of Claggor, my thought was that, "Mylo's all there. He's life-size and made of metal. Why is Clagger just a little puppet?" and my answer was that it was the amount of presence they had in Powder's mind. Mylo was a major contributor to the usefulness-capability complex that Powder was developing-- because, let's face it, he was a kid, too, and just because he was older didn't mean he could be the best role model for her-- and Claggor was always shown as a bystander. Sometimes he spoke up, but most of the time, he just followed along and tried to be a little supportive. Without Mylo actually there-- without an outspoken individual maintaining that complex for Jinx-- she seems to have shouldered the 'responsibility' of getting on her own case. The life-size tin Mylo is just a case for where she thinks the words should be coming from. And his amount of presence in her emotional development is probably also why he shows up the most, leering over her shoulder with that blank expression. Another thing is that Mylo's body is metal, while Claggor's is mostly fabric, it looked like. Does that mean that Jinx perceived Mylo to be stronger, have tougher skin? Or even that she built him with materials she could take out anger on, but that it wasn't a factor in building Claggor? There are so many scenes of her snapping at or swatting Mylo's 'shadow' away, but Claggor's almost always dissolved or wandered off on its own.

I so appreciate the joy and amusement in your voice when you talk about Lucifer, he deserves all the love. He's just a goofy lil guy and i adore his characterization to pieces <3 :'))

I think the main problem blue eye samurai fixes is actually letting a female character be a character and not some misogynistic archetype reduction. Bc let’s not get it twisted, THAT is the problem of the portrayal of female characters, even today and especially in regard to anime and manga. 😅 not the strong female protagonist tm 😂

I like the melodies of a lot of the songs in Hazbin Hotel, but some of them are written or sung in a way that just rubs me the wrong way and I have no idea why.
